Conference 2010 Programme  

The complete Conference programme is listed below. The theme Improving with age develops as the Conference progresses, with the similarities between the production of successful wine and beer brands and the development of successful property investment portfolios being highlighted.  

This similarity is highlighted by the opportunity for delegates to visit one of four wineries, or a boutique brewery, for the third breakout session on the Saturday afternoon of the Conference.  While you taste their wines, Jane Hunter, Allan Scott, Brian Bicknell (Mahi Wines), and Brent Marris (The Ned) will talk about the history and the development of their wineries.  Josh Scott will host a further group at this boutique brewery and explain what makes Moa Beer so special.  At each location, we have organised a second speaker on a property investment topic. Friday 15th October.

7.30pm.  The Allan Scott Winery Welcome event. 

Mix and mingle during a wine and beer tasting hosted by Allan Scott Family Winemakers and Moa Brewing Company.

Saturday 16th October.

8.30am.  Opening session of the Conference.

9.00am.   Steve McKnight.

9.45am.   Morning tea hosted by Noel Leeming.

10.15am. Joan Baker.

11.05am. Laurence Pope and Harry Lawson.

11.50am. Steve McKnight.

12.30pm. Lunch.

1.30pm.  Breakout sessions with Scotney Williams, Mark Withers, Sally Couper and a panel of property managers.

2.15pm.  Repeat of these sessions.

3.00pm.  Afternoon tea and bus trip to selected wineries. See menu item Speakers for details.

5.00pm.  End of sessions for the day.

7.00pm    Gala Dinner, presentations and time to dance and have fun.
